Local gift delivery in Thailand vs shipping a parcel from abroad: if the recipient is in Thailand, ordering from a Thailand-based gift service is usually cleaner than mailing a box from your home country. Monsoon Gifts prepares gifts locally and delivers in Thailand. Free shipping on gift delivery in Thailand. Most orders arrive within 24 to 48 hours in Greater Bangkok and 2 to 5 days in other cities in Thailand. Flower delivery is Bangkok province only.
What goes wrong with international parcels
- Customs checks and possible duties or delays
- Crushed or delayed boxes on long routes
- Long wait times when the occasion is soon
- Restricted items (food, some cosmetics, liquids) depending on the route
What local fulfilment means
You order and pay online from anywhere (UK, USA, Australia, UAE, or inside Thailand). The gift is prepared in Thailand and handed to a local delivery network. The recipient gets a gift-ready delivery instead of an international parcel.
When local delivery is the better choice
- Birthdays, anniversaries, thank-yous, and just-because gifts for someone in Thailand
- City to city gifts inside Thailand (for example Bangkok to Chiang Mai)
- You want free shipping and a typical 24 to 48 hour window in Greater Bangkok (2 to 5 days elsewhere) instead of weeks
